Flurbiprofen Sodium

What do flurbiprofen tablets do? FLURBIPROFEN (Ansaid(R)) is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). Flurbiprofen is used to relieve some symptoms caused by arthritis (rheumatism) such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain. Flurbiprofen is also used to treat other conditions associated with inflammation and/or pain (e.g., menstrual cramps, muscular pain). Generic flurbiprofen tablets are available.

Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your prescriber or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome): constipation, diarrhea, difficulty sleeping, dizziness, drowsiness, gas or heartburn, headache, increased sensitivity to the sun, nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, weight gain.
