How to Use Cantharone
Cantharone is a medication used to remove epithelial growths like warts without evasive methods. This is a topical solution that is applied directly to the skin, with a toothpick or fine probe. When applying this medication it is important to avoid contact with surrounding healthy skin.
After the application of the Cantharone topical medication it is left to dry and covered with a non-porous plastic adhesive tape. The tape will be removed in 24 hours and replaced with a loose bandage.
Some types or large warts might need more than one application of the medication and in this case the loosened skin of the wart is removed and the medication reapplied. This reapplication is done approximately at a weekly interval. There are some warts that will need as many as three applications to treat the growth successfully. After the growth has been successfully removed using Cantharone topical medication the skin will heal returning to normal including the lines in the skin. This topical ointment does not leave any scarring, because it does not destroy the underlying tissue and does not require the use of medical equipment like scalpels making it a non-evasive method of treatment for the removal of warts.
