How to Take Paxil
Paxil should be taken exactly as your doctor prescribed. The amount of medicine and length of time taken should not be altered, unless changed by your doctor. Directions should be followed diligently, with allowances made to maintain a timely dosage schedule.
If you miss a dose of Paxil, take one right away. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not try to make up for the missed dose.
If you have taken too much Paxil, seek emergency medical attention. Paxil can take up to four weeks to show an improvement in symptoms. If you do not see signs of improvement, keep taking Paxil and contact your doctor.
