Nicorette Side Effects
There are many side effects that could occur as a result of using Nicorette in different forms. Nicorette is available in the form of inhaler and gums, both of which can cause some side effects. Some of the common side effects of Nicorette are coughing, indigestion, mouth and throat irritation, stuffy or runny nose, headache, nausea and stomach discomfort. There are some less common side effects of Nicorette as well, such as anxiety, back pain, changes in taste, chest pain, depression, diarrhea, difficulty in sleeping, dizziness, a burning sensation or tingling sensation and warmth, drug dependence, flu-like symptoms, hiccups, general pain, pain in the jaw and neck, pain in muscles, passing gas, problems with teeth and pain, thirst, vomiting and unusual tiredness or weakness. There are some rare side effects of Nicorette as well, including irregular or fast heartbeat, fever with or without chills, headache, nausea with or without vomiting, runny nose, shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, skin rashes, hives or itching, tearing of the eyes and chest pain. When an overdose of Nicorette occurs, it can cause stomach or abdominal pain, cold sweat, convulsions, confusion, disturbed hearing and vision, drooling, extreme exhaustion, pale skin, tremors and fast heartbeat.
