You should take Casodex in the exact prescribed manner. This medicine should be taken at a same time every day. You should start Casodex medicine treatment at the same time as your treatment with the LHEH medicine. This medication is given to the patient in form of injections only. Each injection needs to be taken in an interval of four weeks. In some cases, doctors might change the dosing pattern depending upon the side effects and response rate. If you miss a dose you should not take an extra dose. The next dose should be started at your regular time. If you take your missed dose with your regular dose then it may cause over dose side effects. Casodex can be taken with or without food. If you take an over dose, then you should contact your health care provider as soon as possible. Do not stop taking Casodex until your health care provider tells you to do so. Health care providers may ask you for blood tests before prescribing this medicine. There will also be a need to perform certain testes to monitor the function of liver and prostate gland while under this medication. You need to store Casodex away from direct contact with heat.
