How to Take Entex
Entex should be used exactly as instructed on the prescription label or recommended by your healthcare provider. This medication should not be used more frequently. As a cold medicine, it should be taken normally for a shorter period of time until the symptoms clear-up. Before providing this medication to children, you must discuss the use with your doctor. Entex comes in solution form that need to be measured with a particular dose-measuring cup or spoon; and should not be measured with regular table-spoon and in tablet form. If you dont have a dose-measuring device, you can ask the pharmacist. Entex tablets should not be chewed, crushed or broken. You should not also open controlled-release, extended-release or delayed-release capsules or tablets. The pill needs to be swallowed wholly. If you break or open the pill, it might be possible that too much quantity of the drug is released at once into your body. This medication can be taken with or without food. If significant improvement is not seen after seven days of the treatment, immediately tell your healthcare provider. If you take an overdose, contact the doctor immediately. Otherwise, you may experience adverse signs like nausea, vomiting, tingly feeling or numbness, dizziness and nervousness or feeling restless. If a dose is missed by you, you need to take that missed one as quickly as possible.
