How to Use Nuvaring
Nuvaring comes in form a tiny, flexible ring. It should be inserted into the vagina once every month. Nuvaring needs to be placed for around 3 weeks and after it, Nuvaring can be removed for a ring-free week, during which women will normally have their periods. It doesn’t matter whether Nuvaring is inserted exactly into vagina or not.
If you do not feel comfortable with this ring, there is no need to insert Nuvaring far enough. Nuvaring is quite large in size and thus it cannot be inserted completely inside the female genital organ. It can be easily passed through cervix. Although, tampon removal may remove ring, still it may be used along with Nuvaring. If ring is coming out, you need to simply rinse the device with lukewarm or cool water and then re-insert it. In most cases, a backup process of contraception for around 7 days may be needed when first using the birth control device. Nuvaring should be disposed in a foil pouch and kept away from reach of children. Nuvaring should not be flushed after using. In order to get best results, it should be used as directed by your healthcare provider. If you have any doubt regarding Nuvaring dosage and procedure of use, a consultation with your doctor is advisable.
